Although J.J. was the only biological child to his mother, 'Mama Minnie,' he had numerous brothers and sisters. Mama Minnie opened her home and fostered nearly 30 children for the "Fulton County, Georgia's Foster Care System," giving these children
hopes and dreams to look forward to in their future, all while manning a small farm with vegitation, a small army of livestock, and many, many dogs.

Mama Minnie and J.J. lived a simple lifestyle. When he was just a baby, being that Mama Minnie didn't have many luxuries, she had to use simple things like cardboard boxes as cribs and play pens for J.J. and one of the puppies as his companion and
protector while tending to the farm. This is where J.J. obtained his sincere love for dogs, presently parenting two Pomeranian "Lil Bear" and "Cameron," his personal treasures.

As entertainment to her son, Mama Minnie would play the piano and sing to J.J. all the time. One of her favorite songs was "Someone To Watch Over Me." He always has
remembered that song, and knows that she is somewhere over the rainbow, watching over him, and is very proud and happy of her baby boy. She knew he also had a love and natural gift of music, so she bought him his first saxophone when he was 14 years old.

When J.J. would finish with his chores on the farm, he would sit in the window and watch her work and play his saxophone. He developed a love for music, vocal and instrumental, and gained the desire to sing. To no avail at the vocal side of music,
he returned to his first love, "THE SAXOPHONE." Although J.J. gave up singing vocally, you will be able to hear his words quite vividly through the playing of his Saxophone.
